LOC is constantly looking for new faces to brighten the environment around the office, food pantry, and thrift store. All possessing kindness, generosity, and a desire to assist fellow members of the community are encouraged to visit and become a part of the LOC family. Choose from a variety of interesting positions. Training is available and schedules are flexible. Click here for a volunteer form.

 

 

 

We need:

 

Office Volunteers:

    Welcome our Clients

    Answer the phone

    Assist in filling out paper work

    Make copies for the Case Worker

    Label Quarterly Newsletters and help with

          other Mail outs

 

Kitchen Volunteers:

    Sort & Repackage Food

    Stock Shelves

    Sack Groceries

    Deliver groceries to someone housebound

 

Store Volunteers:

    Sort Clothes

    Hang Clothes

    Work Sales Counter/Register

    Hours are flexible with morning & afternoon   

        shifts one or more days a week.

 

Special Project Volunteers:

    Assist during our Back To School Program

    Assist during our Christmas Shoppe Program

    Assist with Maintenance around our Building & Yard

 

Jobs Program Volunteers:

    Teach a Life Skills Class

    Teach a Computer Class

    Provide a Job Shadowing Opportunity

    Gather a few friends and team up to mentor one family for a year
